Avari's pictures

I can't believe my two year old took these pictures at the park.
They look kind of lighter here than they do in my iphoto, don't know what's up with that.

Her basket of 'nature', still at the beginning.

Rachel's tower, Emily's picture

Some sweet girl made this, and it was so pretty I needed a shot.

BFF's!

Horrible pictures, but so cool. Who says homeschoolers can't socialize?

Not live shots

I'm sure you are shocked by that title...but this is what Emily wanted to share. ;-) and a warning, she won't be buddies with anyone she doesn't know in real life, so call first ;-)

Sam's pictures

He thinks the greens look pretty mixed together.

This is his pumpkin, it's 'big and mighty'

If you look closely, there's a bird in here. I saw it, he saw it, do you?

Confessions

Rachel, with and without friends

I guess that's not Rachel, but it is her picture. She was pleased that it came out so well, as it was scurrying away from us.

Honestly, I take pictures nearly every day. I just don't post them every day. is it weird to post a week in review? What about a month in review?

week in review!

Friends house...she's outbounced the boys in the background!
Interesting book that I found on the shelf at the new bar and grill on campus corner. Thirty years old and the same crap that ticks me off about schools TODAY!
Bugs. everywhere bugs!
and pumpkins have taken over the garden. They're climbing over the tomato cages, pulling down the cucumber trellis, and filling the ditch. But they are cute...all canning pumpkins. We didn't even PLANT pumpkins this year, these are the leavin's from last year.

Week in Review!

Yes, it's taken a few days to catch my breath, but here's some from last week...

The kids learn all about irony in this clever sign at the museum

If not one watermelon grows, it will be worth all the work for Sam's Joy in finding a leaf bigger than his head. They're even bigger now!

Our first produce, a smallish bell pepper. The others are sprouting, the peas are growing, and we have four or five tomatoes. I'm thinking if the cukes can just beat out the flea beetles, we'll be swimming in pickles (Emily is growing them so Dan can have guaranteed wheat-free pickles on his burgers)

Rachel's Unit at flag ceremony...aren't they precious?

Week in Review!

Favorite pictures from Kansas City....
I just liked this one, nice font and stylized eye.

Emily's snazzy merpegasus

Record store...Rachel liked the neon.

Rachel loved this Elvis bear. It was locked in an office though, and we could get a good full-sized picture

Soap that makes you smile ;-)

Week in Review!

Emily's lemonade stand, she plans to raise money for the upcoming autism walk.
Unfortunately, two hours outside left her with no cash :-(

Avari is an artistic soul...

Our volcanic island, in the middle of the yard.

Sam's marching robots.

and one lone pollywog

Ok, not this last week, but the week before. I'm running behind!!
